![]() ![]() Not really realistic blood though, but it’s there.Īnd yeah, that’s about it. Also blood, there’s blood when prisoners fight. ![]() For example, there’s an option to add a death row, where death row inmates will get taken to the cell you’ve built for them, you have however much you want to prepare, you can set up ”appeal” programs, where the chance of clemency (the state says ”you know what? nvm, this dude’s not gonna go to the electric chair!”) either decreces, cause the appeal got declined, or, well, it gets accepted, and the guy leaves. There are some ”adult” themes, that being the concept of drugs, and death. For example, if ”failure conditions” is turned on, and you treat your prisoners like actual garbage, well, they’re gonna escape, sometimes violently (breaking out by fighting the guards(, sometimes quietly (tunnels). You can build your very own prison, which you can treat howevery you want, though, of course, there’s consequenses. Doesn’t really promote drugs in anyways, the player can even start treatment for alcoholics/drug abusers!Īnyways, so after that rant (lol), let’s get onto what the game actually is. That means that they may try to smuggle in drugs, which the player will hopefully prevent. RealisticER, but not realistic.ĭrugs/alcohol: Yeah, prisoners can be addicted to drugs, like heroin and cocaine. Anyways, sometimes there’s a little bit of blood when that happens. Though, when something happens, like a doctor showing up to save a prisoner who got attacked by another, a poleroid might appear. Graphic violence Prisoners can hit each other, cartoon blood on the floor. ![]() And let’s be honest, 14+ kids have most likely seen breasts before. (Not 5x5 pixles, like 5x5 pixel-art pixles). Not really any realistic ones, I mean, they’re like 5x5 pixles lol. However, for the female prisoners, there’s breasts. There’s two dots for nipples, but that’s all. There isn’t really any nudity for the male prisoners. A search can be performed whenever, and are sometimes automatic, if you upgrade so you can have a policy (for example, ”smuggling tools means you get searched, and your cell gets searched, and 5 hours in your cell”). To be served, they have to take off their clothes. When your prisoners arrive, assuming you have an reception, the prisoners will be served. Stewart Rhodes, founder of the right-wing militia group Oath Keepers, was sentenced to 18 years in prison and 3 years of supervised release Thursday after being convicted of seditious. Nudity This does have a little more merit. After the cutscene is over, normal tutorial stuff happens ”Build a death row room” He comes hone, catches them, and kills them off-screen. Sex one cutscene in a tutorial, where we see the backside (not butt, like her literal back) of a woman, who is cheating on her husband. The explanation is ”Sex, nudity, graphic violence, drugs, alcohol, etc.”, which, yes, is in the game, BUT not really on the scale they try to make it. Your apathy for their well-being slowly increases and even turns to sadism. No clue why CS put an 18+ rating on this. But as your every mistake is magnified and underlined you begin to resent the prisoners more and more. Most people will start out simply wanting to make the best prison possible, and prove their skill at the game. Compatible with the latest release of Prison ArchitectJungle, Future Tech, Undead, Free For Life, Second Chances, The Glasshouse, Going Green, Island Bound, Psych Ward & Cleared for Transfer. And that’s ignoring all the small errors about placements of cells and guardrooms, that will quickly be taken advantage of by individuals trying to escape.īut where the game gets really interesting is the effect it has on your own intentions as a player, and your attitude to the virtual prisoners. Fail to hire enough cooks for the kitchen? There’s going to be a riot. Not enough guards to watch over the workshop? Somebody’s going to get shanked. It’s at this point you begin to realise why the prison setting is such an interesting one, because every mistake you make – unavoidable or not – is taken advantage of by the prisoners. One thing that is hard to teach though is fiscal responsibility, and most of the game’s troubles revolve around not being able to build or staff your prison in the way you need to. But they work so well that we’re tempted to suggest that this is the best PC to console conversion ever for a strategy game, in terms of making what was designed for a mouse and keyboard work on a joypad. It manages to explain the various concepts surprisingly well and also helps you get to grips with the game’s controls, which as you’d imagine are radically different to the PC. Beyond the default sandbox mode there is a story campaign to try and give some sort of structure to what you’re doing, and thankfully the tutorial is a lot more helpful in the console edition than it was on PC.
